Walking 

The Cape to Cape walk is the regions famouns coastal walk trail. Starting from Cape Naturaliste in Dunsborough it follows the coast along the ridges and beaches of Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park finishing up at Cape Leeuwin in August. While you can grab a map and do parts of the walk at your leisure you can also book one of the fantastic walking tours who will do all the organising for you and cater the walk to suit.

Water Fun 

Whether is's swimming, snorkelling, surfing, sindsurfing, supping, kayaking, canoeing or fishing there really is something for everyone on offer along this pristine coastline and you can be guaranteed these waters will be some of the cleanest you've ever swum in!

Road Cycling

Increasing in popularity in the area and if you're after a more mellow ride there is a fantastic sealed bike track that runs along Wallcliffe Road from town to the beach, nice and safe if cycling with kids. 

Biking

The region is fast becoming one of the cycling hot spots in the country. Mountain bike trails in the Margaret River area are extensive and will maintained by local bike groups. Pop in and see the boys at The Hairy Marron in town for bike hire, trail maps, low down and a great coffee to get you started!

The Cape to Cape MTB is a mountain biking even held annually in October over 4 days. Trails are mapped through vineyards, forest and farms.

Golf

Head to the Margaret River Golf Cluf conveniently located between town and the ocean. A lovely course with great greens, surrounded by bush which you'll get to share with the local 'Roos'.

Rock Climbing and Abseiling

More adventurous activities in the region, you'll find local tours that combine some of these more extreme sports for the adrenaline junkies.

Horse Riding

Always a favourite across all age groups there are tous and trail rides of various levels available at Jesters Flat in Rosa Brook or the Humble Horse in Cowaramup. Fun for the whole family!

Whale Watching

Cruises run from the new Augusta Marina from June to August. These ocean wonders canalso be spotted from various look outs along the Cape to Cape during the season.

Bird Watching

This region is abundant with local wildlife and bird watchers will rejoice at the variety, from the spectacular blue fairy wrens to The amazing Black Cockatoos.
