Pet Friendly

Bringing your dog on holidays will not stop you getting out and about. The region has many dog friendly wineries, restaurants and cafes and an extensive list can be found at the Margaret River Visitors Centre.

If you’re staying at one of our houses at the beach you can exercise your dog at Gnarabup Reserve on the oval of take a walk up the track behind the beach at Gnarabup to the dog beach for a play in the sand & a swim. Nearby, Riflebutts Reserve in Prevelly has a dog park that runs alongside the playground but dogs are not allowed in the playground area.

The White Elephant Beach Cafe in Gnarabup is where all the local pooches hang after their morning beach run.

Margaret River town has a designated dog exercise area at Gloucester Park. The Wadandi Track walk trails run through the forest in town and are great for longer walks with dogs on a leash. There are also the towns Heritage Trails which start from Rotary Park, the Ten Mile Brook Trail is a lovely forest walk for dogs on a leash.

Please note that no dogs are allowed in the National Parks. 

Kennels

Leeuwin Kennels in Karriday offers Day Care services and overnight boarding. Your pooch will be well looked after by Anita and her family!
